Certifications
CNF awards nursing specialty certification bursaries to successful certification candidates. The award will cover up to the full cost of the initial or renewal certification application fee (excluding tax and centre fee). Award values vary.

Please note that award recipients are now selected through a randomized draw, with allocations based on available funding by province and specialty.

Please note there is a nominal registration fee of $20 to cover administrative costs.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Canadian citizen or permanent resident
2. Must have been successful in the 2026 CNA certification exam, certification renewal exam, or certification via continuous learning
3. Not be receiving financial support from any other source to pay for the exam fees

Please note that if awarded, funding is contingent on success in the 2026 certification exam, certification renewal exam, or certification by continuous learning.
